Almost nothing, and that is deliberate. This page says exactly what is collected, what is not, and how to be taken off the list. It is short because there is not much to say.
This covers raghavakkstudio.com and every page on it. The site is run by me, Raghava KK, working between India and New York. I am the person responsible for the handful of data described below, and studio@raghavakkstudio.com reaches me.
There is one place on this site where you can give me information: the email field on the Calling All Gods page. If you use it, four things are stored:
That is the whole record. No name, no location, no company, no phone number, nothing bought or enriched from anywhere else. I use it for one thing: to write to you about the show and the work. I will write rarely. I do not sell, rent, share, or trade the list, and I will not hand it to a gallery, a fair, or a mailing house.
This site runs no analytics. There is no Google Analytics, no Meta pixel, no advertising tag, no heatmap, no session recorder, no fingerprinting script, and no third-party service watching you read. I do not know how many people visit, which is a trade I am happy with.
As of 23 September 2026 the typefaces are served from this domain rather than from Google Fonts, so loading a page makes no request to any outside company at all. The one exception is described next.
The talks page lists filmed talks that
live on YouTube. Two things follow from that. The poster image for
each talk is loaded from YouTube's image server when you scroll to
it, which means YouTube can see your IP address on that page even if
you never press play. And if you do press play, the video is embedded
from youtube-nocookie.com, which is YouTube's reduced
tracking domain: it holds back cookies until you start watching, but
it is still YouTube, and Google's own privacy policy governs what
happens inside that player. Nothing else on the site behaves this way.
Before the site opened publicly it sat behind a shared password. That
gate set a single cookie, site_auth, so you did not have
to retype the phrase. It held no information about you, only a hash of
the password itself. The gate comes off at launch and the cookie stops
being set. There are no advertising cookies, no analytics cookies, and
nothing that follows you to another site, which is why this site shows
you no cookie banner.
The site is hosted by Vercel, which serves the pages from servers around the world. Like any web host, Vercel records standard request logs: IP address, the page requested, timestamp, browser and device string. I use these only to tell whether the site is working. I do not build profiles from them and I do not join them to the email list. Vercel acts as my processor and holds these logs briefly under its own terms.
Signups are written to a private repository on GitHub that only I can open. GitHub and Vercel are both United States companies, so if you are writing from the European Union, the United Kingdom, or India, your email address is stored in the United States. I rely on the standard contractual clauses those companies publish for that transfer. For European visitors, the legal basis for holding your address is your consent, given when you typed it into the form. For Indian visitors, the same consent is the basis under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act.
Your address stays on the list until you ask to come off, or until the show and its follow-up are finished and the list is no longer needed, whichever comes first. Every email I send will carry a way out. There is no clever re-permissioning, no win-back sequence, no quiet re-adding.

I aim to do this within a few days and in any case inside a month. You do not have to explain why, and asking costs you nothing. If you are in the European Union or the United Kingdom and you think I have handled this badly, you can complain to your national data protection authority. In India you can raise it with the Data Protection Board.
The mailing list is not intended for anyone under sixteen and I do not knowingly keep a minor's address. If you believe a child has signed up, write to me and I will remove it.
The site is served over HTTPS only. The signup form is validated and rate-shaped, the storage repository is private, and the credential behind it is scoped so narrowly it can touch nothing else. That said, no website can promise perfect security, and I will not pretend otherwise. If something goes wrong with the list I will say so here and, where the law requires it, tell you directly.
If this notice changes, the revision date below changes with it. A change that affects what I do with your address will be announced in the next email rather than slipped in quietly. See also the terms and reservation of rights, which covers the work itself rather than your data.
